Terms & Conditions

Effective August 10, 2026 · Version 2026-08-10

The short version

Use RayCode to learn and practice. Keep your account secure, respect other people and services, and do not abuse the platform. RayCode is a Beta learning tool and does not guarantee interview or employment outcomes.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are an agreement between you and RayCode. By creating an account or using an authenticated feature, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use RayCode for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

2. Accounts

Provide accurate information, safeguard your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person may not impersonate another or create accounts to evade restrictions, rate limits, or enforcement.

3. The RayCode service

RayCode organizes programming problems, learning paths, trivia, progress, and mastery signals for educational use. During the initial Beta, code execution may be disabled and source problems may be completed on LeetCode. Features and content may change, be corrected, or be discontinued.

4. External services and problem sources

RayCode may link to problems hosted by LeetCode or other services. Those services are governed by their own terms. RayCode is not affiliated with or endorsed by LeetCode. Do not use RayCode to copy, scrape, redistribute, or misuse third-party content in violation of another service’s rights or rules.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • interfere with, probe, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security or access controls;
  • upload malware or unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-invasive material;
  • automate access in a way that harms the service or circumvents published limits;
  • use another person’s data or account without permission; or
  • use RayCode or its content to violate law or third-party rights.

6. Your content and feedback

You retain ownership of code and other material you submit. You give RayCode a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service according to your privacy choices. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

7. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, legal request, extended inactivity, or service shutdown. Where practical, we will provide notice.

8. Beta disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RayCode is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. RayCode does not promise a job, interview result, rating increase, or specific learning outcome. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RayCode and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, opportunity, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid RayCode in the prior 12 months or USD $100.

10. Changes, law, and contact

We may update these Terms and will identify the revised version and effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. California law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Questions can be sent to privacy@raycode.app.
